Thanks to Charles Freyberg for posing. This is an initial study for a cover of Delacroix's Liberty I am beginning work on - the fallen sans-culotte, a Ginsbergoid poet of protest going commando in a kaftan? felled by a tear gas canister maybe.
I'll add more images here as I finish the painting
