The duck pond in Vic Park by the entrance to Sydney University makes an ideal auditorium for birds like seagulls, spoonbills, emus cockatoos and ibises to give their COVID briefings and otherwise discuss what must be done
The spoonbill gets a few words in, edgeways...
The whole painting, all 3 panels, at the moment, I'll caption the others some other time
swoop
A composite image of the three panels as they were a few days ago.
I'm still adding birds and starting to finish others as well as more plants and perches for a vocal spoonbill with the sideshow bob crest.
As well as spoonbills, so far the are seagulls, emus, brush turkeys, a wedgetail and a sea eagle, some lurid blue fairy penguins(they caught the ferry and then a bus from Manly), cockatoos, currawongs, magpies and noisy miners, ibises(including the speaker), pacific black ducks, crested grebes (they seem to be on a date), swans, and a couple of moorhens. And a pair of tiny red birds from western Sydney whose name I can't remember.
