Coffee Table

A table put together from bits of a couple of staircase stringers and some other timber pieces . Once it was assembled and sanded  I poured epoxy resin over it to create a flat surface so make a loungeroom coffeetable

Just after pouring epoxy resin onto the table with a dam built around it. I placed a  couple of pieces of aluminium leaf to float / slump in the resin for a couple of shiny features

 

The dam is made from sponge and bedbase slats with polypropylene tape to hold the epoxy resin in without sticking to it

 

 

 

 

With a few pieces of chairs and paintbrush handles in the slots - I'll try to get the rest of them filled while it rains over the next few days, so it can be ready to sand and fill once its dry
