The price is eternal vigilance. Liberty in Danger. Some find it in danger, some see liberty in danger right now. We demand liberty, where our desires are our own, not the manufacture of some marketing or political brainwasher. We examine some of the threats - the way that words like freedom and democracy are used to name their enemies! And we aim to enjoy our liberty and have some fun.

Bob's telling jokes
Bob's coming out of the induced coma and recognises everyone. Still a bit confused about what got him there and paranoid that he's under lock and key. But when the nurse told a relative he had the memory of a goldfish right now, he said, better than a gold star!

Bob, get well soon
Sekhet and Made - sharing stories of Bob
Bob got hit by a car door opening in his face as he rode to Marrickville. Money went missing at the accident - $400. The police told Helene that Bob was fine and would be home in an hour - despite the fact that he had a head injury and had been sedated when he got agitated in the aftermath. Further inquiries as to where Bob was were stonewalled by Marrickville police, calls not returned despite assurances, an attitude of 'what, you again?'
He's in the Neuro ICU in an induced coma (like a paralysed Buddha). He's got a trepanned hole in his skull to relieve the pressure. His skin colour is good, and you can see him trying to open eyes and move head when his friends and family visit. He even managed to focus his eyes briefly when Helene was there. That's very hopeful signs, but there's a long road of recovery ahead, even if all goes perfectly

more garbage bin drawings
these bins are ibis proof: mores the pity as drawing and/or painting an ibis emerging from a bin is a long-held ambition - sacred scavenger of regeneration

The Photographers
There's something about groups of photographers...
If you're busking they'll all find angles to photograph you from(while pretending disinterest). And not one will throw a coin.
This was at the Hub in Newtown, markets on Saturday
